La Villa

In the heart of the vineyards
A family home
With just six rooms and suites, Villa Héloïse cultivates the intimacy of a family home. Days unfold at your own pace, with a homemade breakfast, a stroll between the vineyard rows, a discovery of Château Clarisse, a late-afternoon tasting, and then a return to the softness of the gardens.
In the evening, when the season allows, the day lingers on around a brazier, with a plancha of meats and vegetables to grill on request.

In the heart of the vineyards
History of Villa Héloïse
Formerly known as Château de Mole, the house was acquired in 2023 by Olivia and Didier Le Calvez and renamed Villa Héloïse, in tribute to their third child.
Surrounded by the vineyard, the property quickly became an obvious choice. Its beauty, tranquillity and deep connection to the landscape make it a natural extension of the Château Clarisse experience.
Through Villa Héloïse, the Le Calvez family wished to open up their world, share a vision, pass on their knowledge and offer a sincere art of hospitality. Their expertise in hospitality, at the very heart of their profession, is expressed here through a simple promise: to offer each guest thoughtful comfort and discreet attentions.

Olivia Le Calvez
Founder of Villa Héloïse
A graduate of the École Hôtelière de Paris, as well as the Sorbonne and Paris-Dauphine universities, Olivia Le Calvez embodies a discerning and deeply sensitive vision of independent luxury.
In 2004, a love-at-first-sight encounter with two 17th-century buildings on the harbour of Saint-Martin-de-Ré marked the beginning of a singular entrepreneurial journey. There, she created Hôtel de Toiras, reimagining it with precision and character, from the design of the spaces to the selection of carefully sourced furnishings. She continued this momentum with Villa Clarisse, affirming a style in which elegance is inseparable from authenticity.
In 2010, together with Didier Le Calvez, she founded Château Clarisse, a family vineyard in Puisseguin–Saint-Émilion, extending her commitment to the French art of living, at the crossroads of hospitality and wine culture.
Established in 2023, Villa Héloïse forms part of this natural continuation. More intimate and more confidential, it reflects a desire to create a house on a human scale, deeply rooted in its surroundings.
Former Secretary General of Relais & Châteaux, Olivia Le Calvez now brings her sense of detail, exacting standards and strategic vision to projects where excellence is measured as much by the quality of the welcome as by the coherence of the place itself.

Didier Le Calvez
Co-Founder
Didier Le Calvez brings to Villa Héloïse a vision shaped by more than forty years at the highest level of international hospitality. His career has led him to oversee iconic properties such as The Pierre, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Le Bristol Paris and La Réserve Paris, while also holding senior leadership positions within Oetker Collection. Marked by the opening, repositioning and elevation of exceptional establishments to Palace status, his experience reflects an exacting perspective grounded in balance and coherence.
In 2010, together with Olivia Le Calvez, he founded Château Clarisse in Puisseguin–Saint-Émilion. This family vineyard flourishes on the clay-limestone soils of one of the highest plateaux in the Gironde, with an approach deeply attentive to biodiversity. The estate has undergone extensive restructuring and is rooted in a distinctive planting philosophy, restoring historic grape varieties such as Petit Verdot, Carménère and Petit Manseng, while also developing white wines, including a Chardonnay introduced in 2023.
At Villa Héloïse, his involvement is expressed with quiet restraint: a sense of detail, constant exacting standards and an overarching coherence. The complementarity between Olivia Le Calvez’s sensitive vision and Didier Le Calvez’s Palace-level expertise gives the project both discreet strength and natural legitimacy.
Deeply committed to passing on knowledge, Didier Le Calvez has been honoured with the Palmes Académiques, the Légion d’Honneur and the Ordre National du Mérite.
